4 months

TaeLynn had her 4 month appointment today. Here are her stats and also some interseting information that my Dr. told me

Weight: 14lbs 12 oz 74%
Height: 24 1/2 in 59%

So my Dr just got back from the 2009 National Academy of Pediatrics Convention and they learned some new facts about feeding babies solid foods.
No more rice cereals, I guess there is not much nutrients in it. Good for us because TaeLynn was not enjoying this too much!
No more waiting 3-4 days before starting new foods, only need to wait 1-2 days.
By 6-8 month you can give them wheat cereal, egg products, Peanut Butter and citrus fruits.
I am anxious to start giving her fruits and veggies! Hopefully she will eat them better than her cereal we tried last night.
TaeLynn is such a happy baby. She has such a sweet spirit and we love having her in our little family. I just wish they would stop growing so fast. Where did that newborn stage go? I miss it already.
We love you TaeLynn!

Life is rough

Ha ha I just had to post this picture because it just makes me laugh, and because this happens to her all the time. Its so hard being a girl!

Do you love the sound of your crying baby

So I have a funny little story of Mckenzie. Yesterday I think I was busy doing the dishes or something and TaeLynn had waken up from a nap. She was crying and I was trying to hurry and finish the dishes before going up and getting her. Well Mckenzie comes in a couple of minutes after and looks at me and says "mama do you love that sound?" I then replied with "what sound? TaeLynn crying?" Yes mom, I said well its not my favorite. So Kenzie tells me "then go do something about it."
Silly girl!

Update Update Update

I know its been too long since I have posted anything new. However I do have a good excuse! Our internet has not been working for at least a couple of weeks now. We finally got it figured out on Sunday. Finally. So here are just a few random pictures nothing too exciting. Ha ha I love these picutes of Andy and Tae. Andy was waiting for me to get off the computer to put TaeLynn to bed but I guess I took too long. They were both out when I got done. So sweet.

Wedding

Andy's brother got married on October 13th. It was such a nice day. Heidi had done such an amazing job putting her wedding together. She is so cute and we are so excited that she is finally a part of our family. Here are just a few pictures of the wedding and the shower we had for them.

Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday we invited Andy's parents to go out to the pumpkin patch with us. We had such a fun time on the hayride and finding our pumpkins. We all came back to our house and ate some yummy soup. We have yet to carve our pumpkins yet but hopefully we will get to do that soon since Halloween is only a few days away.

Two month stats

Wow I can't believe that two months have come and gone since this sweet little girl came into our family. She is just the cutest thing ever. She is full of big smiles and loves to talk. She has just started cooing and we are loving it. She loves it when Mckenzie talks to her. She just stares at her and gives her big grinners (as kenzie calls them) whenever Kenzie is around. I am so thankful for her sweet spirit she brings into our family. We are so lucky to have two beautiful girls. TaeLynn had her two month appointment today here are her stats:
Weight: 11 lbs 4 oz 64 percentile
Height: 22 1/2 in 56 percentile
Head circ: 38 1/4 37 percentile
She also got her two month shots today. It was so funny because right before the nurse gave her her shots Kenzie gears up for some loud screams by covering her ears. TaeLynn was pretty good. She definitely shed some tears but soon fell asleep for the car ride home.

We love you so much TaeLynn. We are so grateful to have you in our family.

Blessing day

We blessed TaeLynn on Sunday and it was such a beautiful day. Her daddy gave the most beautiful blessing and we had so many friends and family to come celebrate with us. Thank you to everyone that helped us out that day.

Eights weeks

I just thought I would post some of the latest pictures of TaeLynn. She is still a very good baby. We love her smiles!!

Three weeks old

Man how time flys by. I can't believe that my baby is already three weeks old. She is such a good baby. We are having so much fun with her. Mckenzie is mommy little helper and loves to hold her baby sister. I love being a mom and wouldn't change it for the world.

TaeLynn Renee

Our sweet baby girl joined us in this world on July 14, 2009. She weighted 7 lbs 4 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She was born at 7:50 am. Andy and I headed up to the hospital at 5:30 in the morning for our scheduled c-section. When we got there they right away got me in my gown and ready to go. The dr came by around 7:20 and thats when the real preparation started. They took me into the operating room and gave me my epidural waited for that to get working and then started the operation. Not soon after did this little girl start crying! She wasn't even completely born yet before she started crying. I was so anxious to see her. I kept asking Andy, is she out yet? I want to see her. I was so excited when they finally held her up and every looked good. She was perfect! A happy healthy baby. The hospital stay was long but the nurses were all so awesome. I had only one nurse that wasn't very good, but for the four days that I was there thats not too bad! I was able to come home on Friday morning and boy did it feel good to get into some normal clothes and get in the car to head home. The first night at home TaeLynn went to bed at 11pm and didn't wake up until 6 am, and then fell back asleep until about 9:45 am. What an awesome first night! I couldn't believe that she slept that long. I hope this is something that is going to become a habit!!! I am so excited that she is here and I am so grateful that she is healthy and that nothing went wrong. I feel so blessed to have another little girl.
