5 Things you may not know about Mckenzie Kate Hansen

1. Mckenzie loves to play dress up. Her Grandma Hansen bought her princess dresses and she absolutely loves them. She would wear her Sleeping Beauty dress 24/7 if she could. If you ask her who her favorite princess is she would tell you that she loves Sleeping Beauty.

2. We went and got Kenzie's ears pierced last Thursday! She looks so cute with them. I let her pick out her earrings and she wanted the ones that sparkles! She has been such a big girl cleaning them with me every day and making sure she twists them.

3. Mckenzie is learning how to read! Her Grandma Hansen has been working with her and teaching her some words. So today when I got home she showed me her word strips and read me the words on it. So she now knows Mommy, Daddy, Mckenzie, juice and oatmeal.

4. So Kenzie LOVES oatmeal. Every morning I ask her what she wants for breakfast and every time the answer is oatmeal.

5. Kenzie can't wait to be a big sister. She is always telling me that she has a baby brother in her tummy. Its so funny! Hopefully before she knows it she will get that chance.

What is your husbands name? Andrew William Hansen

How long have you been married? 6 years

How long did you date? We dated 4 months before we got engaged

How old is he? He turns 28 this month

Who eats more sweets? Probably Andy, I don't eat that much candy so I would have to say he does.

Who said I love you first? Andy did

Who is taller? Most definately Andy... He is at least a foot taller than me!

Who can sing the best? Do we really need to ask that question?! I do of course!!

Who is smarter? Andy is so much smarter than me he is always joking with me that I need to go back to school

Who does the laundry? Well we both do the laundry, he actually folds it more often than I do. That is one thing that I hate doing. So it will sit in the laundry basket until he folds it!!!

Who pays the bills? Well most of our bills are set up for automatic deposit. So we really don't have to worry about too many bills. But I normally do them

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Andy does

Who mows the lawn? Well we live with Andy's parents so Andy will trade off with his brother and dad each week.

Who cooks dinner? I do a lot of the cooking, but Andy helps me out a lot. Andy's mom and I have set days we cook.

Who drives? Well since I am not the best driver, Andy does all of the driving when we are together. I don't enjoy driving, I would much rather sit and just enjoy the ride!

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? I think it depends on what we are arguing over. Andy I and are both pretty stuborn

Who kissed who first? Andy kissed me first

Who asked who out first? I asked Andy out, well I had my roommate hook us up

Who wears the pants? Andy definately wears the pants in the family, although I would like to think I do.

Hi

So Kenzie has been missing her cousins and her Grandma Jill. So she wanted to say hi to them this morning while we were getting dressed for the day. I was hoping I could get her to sing a song to you, but apparently she didn't like that idea so much!

Pretty as a Princess

So I have gotten a new hobby! Its making bows. Its so much fun. And of course Kenzie loves it cause she has lots of hair bows now to wear! So one night while I was working on some bows Kenzie was playing with her babies and putting headbands and flowers on each of them. They looked so cute I just had to get pictures of her and her babies!

I'm Big

So the other morning Kenzie woke up and she had to go potty, so we went and sat her down on the toilet and I noticed that her diaper was dry. So me being so proud of her I praised her and told what I big girl I thought she was. I kept telling her that she was such a big girl for not wetting her pants. So she looks at me with big hopeful eyes and says "Kenzie go to Temple now?" I was a little confused so I asked her "what?" and she repeats "Kenzie go to Temple now" I finally get what she is asking, Kenzie just can't wait to big enough to go to the Temple and so since I kept telling her she was a "big girl now" she thought she was big enough to go to the Temple. I looked into those hopeful eyes and said "well your not big enough yet, you have to be big like mommy" So we go up stairs to eat breakfast and I ask Kenzie if she wants to go to mommys work, and she looks at me all confused and says "I not big mom" I said "yes you are" but she kept saying "no mom, I'm not big enough". Poor girl was so confused! I just thought it was so cute that she thought she was big enough to go to the Temple!
