I'm Big

So the other morning Kenzie woke up and she had to go potty, so we went and sat her down on the toilet and I noticed that her diaper was dry. So me being so proud of her I praised her and told what I big girl I thought she was. I kept telling her that she was such a big girl for not wetting her pants. So she looks at me with big hopeful eyes and says "Kenzie go to Temple now?" I was a little confused so I asked her "what?" and she repeats "Kenzie go to Temple now" I finally get what she is asking, Kenzie just can't wait to big enough to go to the Temple and so since I kept telling her she was a "big girl now" she thought she was big enough to go to the Temple. I looked into those hopeful eyes and said "well your not big enough yet, you have to be big like mommy" So we go up stairs to eat breakfast and I ask Kenzie if she wants to go to mommys work, and she looks at me all confused and says "I not big mom" I said "yes you are" but she kept saying "no mom, I'm not big enough". Poor girl was so confused! I just thought it was so cute that she thought she was big enough to go to the Temple!

Ok so I know its been forever since I have even been on my blog. I have started reading the Twilight series and they seem to have taken all my spare time. I have absolutely loved these books. I am trying to pace myself with the third book so I don't have three weeks to wait for the fourth one. I must say that I am doing pretty good. I haven't picked up the book since last Thursday. I normally allow myself to read only one chapter a day so that I can focus on spending time with my family. So I am pretty proud of myself since I am obsessed with them! Anyways a lot has gone on since I last posted and I am trying to think of what we have done since then. Kenzie and I just got back from Yellowstone and Jackson. We spend about four days up there with my family. Heather was so gracious to let us ride in the car with her the entire time. I still feel like I need to do something for her to let her know how appreciated she is. We really had a good time. Kenzie had a blast playing with Hannah and Casey. She loves them so much. Although she did miss little Dallan! She kept asking Megan "wheres Dallan?" I would post pictures of our trip but for those of you that know me I am just about the most forgetful person ever. So I left my new camera at the swimming pool at the condo we stayed at. Thankfully someone did turn it in and they are mailing it to us. So I won't have pictures until then. (Hopefully all the pictures are still there!) We got home on July 3rd, so on the 4th Andy and I took Kenzie to the Centerville parade and she had a blast it was so funny watching her run for the candy and she would hop right as she would get to the piece she was eyeing. We then took her swimming and then we went and watched the fireworks. Kenzie loved the "sparkles" in the sky. She had a fun day and was exhausted when the day was over. I was able to get some pictures of the 4th because I have great in laws that are willing to lend me their camera! Thanks Scott!

Working out with Daddy

Andy was doing some push ups the other day and it was so funny because Mckenzie wanted to be just like dad. So she took off her shirt and say down right next to him and kept telling him "good job daddy, good job" I couldn't stop laughing. It was so cute. She then wanted to do what he was doing. But her little arms just couldn't hold her self up, but she tried awfully hard! I took a couple pictures of them after their "work out"

Our Trip to Moab

So for our 6 year anniversary we went down to Moab with Andy's family. We left on Thursday night and came home on Sunday morning. We had so much fun down there. On Friday we went on a Hummer ride. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. This ride was crazy, I really thought we may die! The driver took us off roading and really scared the crap out of me!

So this is what we drove on. Pretty crazy huh!
